Yung Ho Kuen and Li Wai Wang, celebrated calligraphers who have performed their art skills on numerous occasions around the city; will be here to showcase their skills in this particular medium. With a minimum purchase of Hong Kong $200.00 at Tai Yau Plaza during this period, patrons may redeem a traditional Chinese Lunar New Year greetings banner written by the artists themselves. Dragon’s Beard Candy, a confection which contains peanuts and other fine ingredients; has a long and rich history in the Chinese’s culture and has adopted many variations in its time-honored recipe. You will be astounded by his amazing skills in churning a heavy lump of flour into super-fine strands of candy-coating. So come join us and celebrate this new lunar year while savoring this precious art form/recipe.
