Yung Ho Kuen and Li Wai Wang, celebrated calligraphers who have performed their art skills on numerous occasions around the city; will be here to showcase their skills in this particular medium. Dragon’s Beard Candy, a confection which contains peanuts and other fine ingredients; has a long and rich history in the Chinese’s culture and has adopted many variations in its time-honored recipe. You will be astounded by his amazing skills in churning a heavy lump of flour into super-fine strands of candy-coating. “STEM World” by Luk Chiu Kwan Hung Child Development Research Centre:

Activities:
Luk Chiu Kwan Hung Child Development Research Centre have collaborated with Creative Kindergarten to conduct the STEM for Kids programme at the school. The two categories of STEM work is divided into Kindergarten and Primary. The kindergarten children have used larger K’nex components to create 3D objects such as animals and vehicles. The primary children have used smaller K'nex, which have included the use of solar panels, motors and gears to make floating boats, solar cars and other objects. Through this programme, the children have integrated a diverse range of interdisciplinary skills of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, to enhance their interest in logical thinking, problem-solving skills, observation and creativity. Everyone is welcome to visit the exhibition to appreciate the children’s work.
